Swimming

Swimming is a great way to keep active, whatever your age or ability. No matter what the weather is like outside, you can always keep active by going swimming. Swimming is good for your health and can reduce your risk of developing conditions such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease and stroke. It’s also good for your wellbeing and can help you maintain a healthy weight.

Swimming is not only good for your health and wellbeing, but it is also a life-saving skill. Go Active in St Helens offer swimming lessons for children and swim clinics for adults.

Swimming is a fun, enjoyable activity. All you need is a swimming costume which fits right and feels comfortable. You may also want to wear goggles so you can see under the water. Children can wear armbands to help them float on the water.

So why not give swimming a go and BE YOUR OWN HERO!
